National Call-In Day! Fund Medicaid’s Money Follows the Person Program

Join a national effort to urge Congress to fund a critical program that helps older adults and people with disabilities move out of institutions and into the community.
Call the Capitol Switchboard today at (202) 224-3121 and ask to be connected with your Senators.

  • Tell them to support the bi-partisan bill called the EMPOWER Care Act S.2227. This bill would extend the Medicaid Money Follows the Person Program.
  • Tell your Senators you want funding restored so that states don’t cut back on crucial programs that help people live in the community and with their families.
  • Money Follows the Person is a common-sense way to fund Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services that improve the quality of life for people and families, and save federal dollars that would otherwise be spent in more costly institutions.

Thank you to our partners, Justice in Aging, for putting together this call-to-action!
