September 7, 2020 By Karen Fletcher

The Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) and the SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) Technical Assistance Center put together a useful summary of successful practices for telework and outreach during COVID-19. The document is based on survey information the Administration for Community Living received from SHIPs and SMPs around the country on their success stories and best practices during the pandemic. It covers workplace tips and best practices for:

  • Working at home
  • Working at the office
  • Maintaining relationships
  • Trainings and meetings

It covers outreach best practices for:

  • Social media
  • Counseling
  • Webinars
  • Television and radio
  • Print
  • Email

And it also contains a comprehensive list of COVID-19 eduction, information and outreach resources.
