End Medicare Fraud ~ You Can Make a Difference

California Health Advocates > Fraud & Abuse > End Medicare Fraud ~ You Can Make a Difference

Posted by Karen Joy Fletcher on November 1, 2012

Yes, Medicare fraud is a big problem, and the amount of fraud can sometimes be both staggering and overwhelming. Yet, this 30-second public service announcement (PSA), is a good reminder to relinquish any apathy about fraud. Instead we can become a part of the solution by educating ourselves and others about fraud, how to detect it and to report any suspicious fraudulent billings or actions to our local Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) project. People with a passion for service and ending fraud can also join our California SMP volunteer team.

Spread the word on how to stop Medicare fraud. It all starts with protecting one’s Medicare and reporting any suspicious activity.

Contact our SMP office with any questions or reports at 855-613-7080.
