Good news!! Our State Senate and Assembly reached a budget deal. And it rejected the major cuts to the senior and disability programs that we have been advocating against. (See one of our articles opposing the Governor’s May Revise for more info.) This budget deal still needs to be negotiated with the Governor, so making calls, tweeting, emailing, etc. is still very much needed. Here is the Legislature’s version of the 2020-2021 budget for information on their proposed budget and solutions.
