California Health Advocates > Blog > Fraud & Abuse > New Fraud Alert in 9 Languages ~ Beware of Genetic Testing Scams

May 23, 2019 By Karen Fletcher

Reports of genetic testing scams continue to increase and are currently our top reported scam in California. Because of this, we’ve created a new fraud alert available in 9 languages. It includes an overview of the scams and helpful tips for prevention.

This alert is downloadable as a PDF and is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Korean, Armenian, Farsi and Hindi.

Please share far and wide. Report any such suspected fraud to our California Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) at 1-855-613-7080.

Thank you for your help in spreading the word, and
preventing and detecting these scams.
