Earlier this month, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary, Xavier Becerra extended the Public Health Emergency declaration due to COVID-19. This extension marks two years of a global pandemic response. It is set to expire on April 16, 2022, yet can extended an unlimited amount of times. All associated authorities and flexibilities with the PHE declaration are also extended for these 90 days.
