CA SMP Attends the 2023 SMP/SHIP/MIPPA National Conference

Our California Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) was thrilled to be a part of this year’s national conference in Bethesda, Maryland. Our SMP Project Director, Catherina Isidro, SMP Program Manager, Christina Dimas-Kahn, and our new Case Intake Analyst, Rose Morales attended the 4-day event late July. The annual conference assists, supports, and informs the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Program, State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), and Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act (MIPPA) grantees nationwide, offering attendees an opportunity to review core values and practices that define the programs and hone new skills to strengthen program education and outreach efforts. Our program is grateful for the opportunity to learn and explore new ways to enhance our program and partnerships to better serve our diverse California Medicare populations.
