Micki Nozaki joined our CHA staff with the California Senior Medicare Patrol project in the fall of 2011. She had previously served as a Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program counselor, offering in-person Medicare counseling at several sites throughout Orange County.
Her professional experience includes 25 years in the private sector, for mainly healthcare, insurance, and government-contracted organizations, where she lead the development, implementation and promotion of information security and privacy programs. She has written and edited several textbooks and spoken extensively on the importance of protecting patient and consumer confidentiality. Additionally, she has testified in front of Congressional representatives concerning the importance of computer security.
Micki has a B.S. and MBA from the University of Redlands. She is an animal lover and strives to be a tolerable golfer.
