Catheryn (Cat) Mercado joined our CHA/SMP team as our Operations Manager. She brings a wealth of professional experience to our team with over 15 years in the nonprofit arena. Her work experience includes working as a senior events and accounting specialist, operations and membership specialist, database management and conference support and more. She has strong organizational and communication skills, and invites new challenges, enjoys multi-tasking and is flexible with changing priorities. For CHA/SMP Cat handles the logistics of our member engagement events, including our SMP annual conference, Day at the Capitol event, membership meetings and webinars. She also answers our SMP helpline and handles all our SMP inventory and orders and more.
