ABC News Highlights CHA’s Nationally Recognized Senior Medicare Patrol Project

ABC News highlighted California’s Senior Medicare Patrol project in their recent report on durable medical equipment (DME) fraud in the Los Angeles area. Julie Schoen, our SMP Project Director was interviewed along with a Spanish-speaking beneficiary who was tricked into a wheelchair scam. The short clip includes tips on how to recognize and avoid Medicare fraud scams.
